How Platform King chooses platforms

Platform King covers 19 Australian software platforms for running commerce, bookings and marketplaces. If you are launching a venture that takes payments, bookings or listings, these are platforms that say they are built for that job.

Platform capabilities

Platforms are grouped by what they let you run. 5 capabilities have three or more platforms and a page each: booking and ticketing (6), ecommerce operations (6), practice management (5), freight management (4) and marketplace platforms (3). A booking system that also takes payments sits in both groups. Each platform page lists the services it names, from online payments to appointment bookings, and 2 platforms also state a city or state.

Proof of an Australian base

Every platform shows official Australian evidence, quoted and linked on its page: 8 describe Australian operations, 5 list an office here, 4 state Australian origin and 2 name an Australian head office. Selling into Australia is not enough by itself.

What we leave to you

Platform King does not score platforms, crown winners or print fee comparisons. Transaction fees and plans change too often to reproduce, so where a platform publishes pricing we link to it instead; 6 platforms have that link. The order on every page is alphabetical.

Fixing an entry

Platform facts were checked between 24 September 2026 and 25 September 2026, and each platform page shows when. If a capability is missing or out of date, email support@platformking.com.au and include the official page that shows the correct detail. Platform owners can ask for removal the same way.
